How to Buy

Procedure for Purchasing and Importing Boats

Get your boat with our purchasing process

1- Search

We conduct a thorough search of the U.S. market based on the requirements provided by the customer regarding make, model, year, engine, and other specifications, with the goal of providing you with a customized product at a competitive price. Our quote includes the final price delivered to your port, with all taxes paid; this step is free of charge for the customer.

2. Selection

Once the boat has been selected, we schedule an appointment with the owners or dealer to conduct a thorough inspection of the vessel. This process is carried out by MADEINUSA BOATS LLC, our company based in Orlando, Florida, United States, and the purchase is approved only if the boat is in perfect condition. There is a fee for this process in the event that the boat is in a condition suitable for purchase but the customer decides not to proceed with the purchase; the cost will depend on the travel time required to reach the boat’s location.

3. Purchase of the boat

Prior to the purchase, we send you the “PROMISSORY CONTRACT FOR THE SALE OF A SMALL VESSEL” for review and signature, which details the vessel’s specifications, price, photos, and payment method. At the time of purchase, we review the documentation to verify that the vessel is in perfect legal standing to be purchased and transferred to our company in the United States “MADEINUSA BOATS LLC.” All our purchases undergo a legal review process by our company in the U.S. Once the purchase is complete, we send videos, photos of the vessel, and a copy of the legal documentation certifying the purchase by our company in the U.S.

4- Shipping

All our shipments are routed through ports in Florida or any other available ports in the United States. To facilitate this, we work with our strategic partners in Miami, who handle the consolidation and shipment of our cargo to your country.

4. Receipt and Delivery

Our company handles the importation, tax payment, and removal of the vessel from the port, so we deliver it to the customer at a location to be determined, ready for registration in your country, thereby avoiding the entire complex import process.

Payment Methods

I. A 70% deposit is required to schedule a visit and inspect the boat, as outlined in Step 2. If the boat does not meet the approval standards or has any mechanical issues, the purchase will not proceed. We offer the option to refund the deposit or apply it toward the search for another boat.

II. Pay the final 30% balance upon receiving the carrier’s pre-notification; at that point, we must begin the entire import process and tax payment in your country.
